  • To ensure that all guests enjoy our tranquil surroundings we ask for noise levels to be kept to a minimum - The Byron Bathhouse is a space for peace, calm, healing, and relaxation.

Please ensure you shower and use the pre-bathing scrub before entry into any of the facilities (pools, showers, saunas), ensure long hair is tied up, not wear makeup or other skin products (creams, moisturisers, sunscreens etc.) that may dissolve in the pools and sit on a towel when in the saunas.

To ensure a relaxing and restorative experience for all guests, The Byron Bathhouse is a phone free zone. Please do not use any phones, cameras or other mobile devices in the bathing area. Note: you are able to be checked into your booking on arrival by providing your name and phone number.

Please wear bathers/swimwear at all times, and not bring any food or outside drinks. Smoking, glassware, alcohol, drugs or illicit substances are prohibited on the property.

  • Parking for The Byron Bathhouse is street parking along Bangalow Road and adjoining residential streets. If you require a disabled carpark, please notify reception at your time of booking.

  • We ask you to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your Bathhouse experience or treatment beginning to allow your time to unwind and settle in. Arriving late will reduce session or treatment time. Bathhouse sessions and treatments will finish at the scheduled time. We invite you to make full use of our relaxation lounge facilities before and after your Bathhouse session or treatment.

  • Bookings are made online via our website or the Fresha app. Where the time and bathhouse capacity permits, we are happy to accommodate walk in guests.

  • To ensure the best possible bathing experience you are required to complete The Health Lodge Consultation Form before commencing your Bathhouse session or treatment. This allows our Bathhouse Concierge Team to guide you to the recommended bathing protocols to suit your individual needs and health goals, and for our expert Therapists adapt treatments to ensure the best possible experience during your visit.

  • There can be numerous contraindications of hot cold therapy during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, we advise that you do not use the Bathhouse facilities, or seek medical advice and provide letter from your treating healthcare professional 48 hours in advance of your visit.

  • A cubicle will be provided for you to place your belongings. This is an unsecure locker however, so we ask that you leave your valuables at home as we cannot take responsibility for valuables left in the Bathhouse.
