Meet our owner, Reine DuBois
Reine Dubois developed The Byron Bathhouse to compliment her suite of health businesses in Byron Bay, merging beauty and health principles. Her goal was to create a facility that offers genuine health benefits from a naturopathic perspective.
“Our first naturopathic principle is ‘first do no harm.’ I’m still surprised that chlorine is used in heated mineral pools, despite its known harmful effects on the skin and lungs.”
By integrating traditional contrast bathing with modern science in a toxin-free environment, we cater to those seeking optimal health as well as those addressing chronic conditions.
Reine’s first business in Byron Bay was the Health Lodge, designed to tackle both the causes and symptoms of complex health conditions. She later developed an inpatient residential health facility to offer respite from environmental stressors, giving patients’ nervous and immune systems a break. Additionally, Reine established a naturopathic dispensary, offering integrative support to the public at no charge.
